While trying to cut down on the overall size of our docker image, we’ve noticed that zos includes truffle-debugger, which alone accounts for >30% of the size of our image. Is there any way this (truffle-debugger) can be isolated to dev dependencies only?

Good catch! We have been cutting down dependencies on truffle (while retaining compatibility), to the point that debugger is no longer present on master 
We’ll probably release v2.2.0 in a few weeks which will include this change, stay tuned!!
